Well, with Matt's crazy crazy work, class, and homework schedule, we've struggled getting time together. We both feel strongly about date night, but the weekend requires long and late work hours.
So, Randomly, we decided to have our date night last night (after Matt had spent 12 hours on campus and needed a break). We had a coupon for Red Mango (I love that place! Thanks, Sherie!). So while Matt went off to get it, I searched through a book we got full of silly, fun, family night ideas. This was the result of the search, and we had a ton of fun!! (We also played Angry Birds while we ate our Red Mango, since we couldn't use the table with our dessert.)
It was great because it wasn't particularly competitive, since we were trying to get the same foil balls in, and the Q ball was also made out of foil. But it took some concentration, and we had a blast! In the background, I played the soundtrack to Leatherheads, which is just upbeat, old style music (something you might hear on Antiques Roadshow). :)
