New Rituals

I've been doing a lot in the kitchen while Maddie is awake, lately.  I think it's because I started to follow a meal plan again, so I'm cooking more than I have the last few weeks.  It's been fun to cook and have Maddie there, until she gets really bored and starts to explore every drawer and cupboard she can. 

However, from all this, she has found a new place to, in a sense, call her own.  When I cook, I'm spending a lot of time at the stove area, so she gets her sippy cup, bottle, or cracker and sits on the carpet in front of the sink.  She'll munch, drink, and talk to me.  It's soooooo cute!
